NSDataSmith is aimed at reformatting and manipulating the data before transferring it to the target data source without making any changes to the original source data.

In every implementation, we are required to populate customer’s legacy data to our applications before taking the customer live. Since the data source is not fixed, we are required to do lot of manual work to format the data, write scripts for data transfer and then manually execute data transfer. There is no QA process to validate the data transfer.

This tool can be also used to eliminate running SQL queries on the customer’s database for manipulating the records.
